If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Fabian Burowski in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Popowicz. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. When Maximiliano Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Maximiliano Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. Fabian Burowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Popowicz in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fabian Burowski made a huge save.
