The supporters of Lα Sυв 21 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Merexildo having to interfere. With a little luck, Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Gonza hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Severiano Enekoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Enekoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 20th minute of play. Xiao Xiao kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 23rd minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ernesto Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lα Sυв 21's Ernesto Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Lα Sυв 21 from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Enekoitz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Guido Bartolome hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Lopes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Merexildo saved Lα Sυв 21 from getting behind. Lautaro Mancebo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Mancebo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lα Sυв 21's Pablo Vegetti was substituted for Severiano Enekoitz. Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari was substituted for Guido Bartolome. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Tibalt during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ernesto Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play. Ernesto Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
