Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Exército Português's Robert Przybylski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petruț Dicu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute. Bruno Soveral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Petruț Dicu made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Petruț Dicu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Bruno Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Exército Português's Petruț Dicu got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Exército Português was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Trynda to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Mariano Lacasa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 35 minutes of play, Exército Português's Bruno Soveral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petruț Dicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Petruț Dicu made a huge save. After having played for 44 minutes, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Casaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Exército Português getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lech Trynda hit a great ball. Chile's Mariano Lacasa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Exército Português. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Petruț Dicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute of play. Petruț Dicu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Soveral in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Exército Português's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Figueroa came free, but Petruț Dicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Petruț Dicu. Exército Português's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Robert Przybylski sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes Exército Português's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Chile's Pedro Indiano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play forced Exército Português's goalkeeper Petruț Dicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petruț Dicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 82nd minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Meireles in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petruț Dicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Exército Português made a substitution. Feliks Maurycy replaced Armando Meireles. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petruț Dicu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head.
