Log Horizon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elvio Aznar scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Log Horizon getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Silvano Unax hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Marud came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Log Horizon's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Hugon Marut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mervin Corley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mervin Corley in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Aznar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Log Horizon's Hugon Marut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Log Horizon from getting a goal against them. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. The supporters of Chile booed when Log Horizon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugon Marut. Log Horizon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Esteban Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Log Horizon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Quirce to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Log Horizon got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Abascal. In the 79thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Log Horizon's Hugon Marut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugon Marut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute of play. Pedro Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Log Horizon's Silvano Unax tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Elvio Aznar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Log Horizon were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
