In the 10th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Overschie's Jan Rein Hindriks shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Ruud Koning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruud Koning slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorn Krommert, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roger Bueno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Jorn Krommert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Roger Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Bueno. Overschie's Niek Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Jorn Krommert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorn Krommert in the 53rd minute of play. The Overschie fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Overschie's Roger Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Bueno went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorn Krommert in the 68th minute of play. Hugo Gerfen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Roger Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Overschie's Jorn Krommert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Overschie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Overschie booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Overschie getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alexander Houtman hit a great ball. When Tomas Illescas got free in front of the goal in the 90th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Niek Kiewit was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Koning in the 92nd minute of play. When Hugo Gerfen fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overschie's protests and gave Hugo Gerfen a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Bueno in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Overschie.
