In the 16th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regan Jordan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Mattsson was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Jax Williamson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolli Bolla's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bolli Bolla sped through Canada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jax Williamson. 36 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mccarthy came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Dixon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Mattsson was a little too slow when Richard Mccarthy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bolli Bolla to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Bolli Bolla took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jax Williamson to make any attempt to save it. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. Canada's Luka Harris quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Michael Bergfelt, made in the 58th minute of the game. Hummerfiskarna made a substitution. Andrea De Toro replaced Arnaldo Queirós. Hummerfiskarna's Hana Banana was substituted for Karl-Michael Bergfelt. Canada's Luka Harris managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hana Banana in the 63 minute of the game. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dixon in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. In the 72nd minute of the match Canada got a corner. Hummerfiskarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jan Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Edwards blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Mattsson having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Dixon in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Canada's Jan Dixon in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hummerfiskarna's goalie prevented a goal. Filip Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Mattsson having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bolli Bolla. Holger Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Dixon in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hummerfiskarna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
