Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Johan Cruijff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Aguiar in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Cruijff, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Aguiar came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Johan Cruijff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Cruijff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Aguiar in the 18th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 20th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The Olympique Deleon fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Olympique Deleon's Eurico Aguiar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Olympique Deleon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Rogério Pinho in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johan Cruijff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Rogério Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Olympique Deleon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. The corner ended in Lautaro Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique Deleon's Rogério Pinho did a great save. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Johan Cruijff hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Paraense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 45th minute of play forced Olympique Deleon's goalkeeper Rogério Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Aguiar made a kick off. Johan Cruijff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho de Carvalho sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benito Sanz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tiaguinho de Carvalho this time. Olympique Deleon's Rogério Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 57th minute of play. If Johan Cruijff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Olympique Deleon's Johan Cruijff made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Olympique Deleon's Eurico Aguiar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th match minute, Olympique Deleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st play minute Eurico Aguiar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Eurico Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Olympique Deleon's Abelardo Galvão got a free kick in the 81st minute. 87 minutes in the game, Johan Cruijff fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olympique Deleon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
