Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Meira in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Meira in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Meira in the 55th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Christiano Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Jorginho Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After having played for 83 minutes, Jorginho Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morro Grande E.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
