Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Latocayteva F.C.'s Misael Darroja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Efraim Gilabert made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. In the 6th minute, Latocayteva F.C.'s Misael Darroja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Latocayteva F.C. defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Rius. The Latocayteva F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Rius should have stopped the shot. Apolo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Latocayteva F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Nesor Vacas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Rius. Latocayteva F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Latocayteva F.C.'s Tony Soprano got a free kick in the 19th minute. Apolo Rius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Rolando Noboa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nesor Vacas. Apolo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Misael Darroja. After 45 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Maurino Montiel made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. Apolo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 65 minutes, Maurino Montiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latocayteva F.C. and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurino Montiel got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Misael Darroja. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Milagros Fraga hit a great ball. Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of play. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Apolo Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 86th minute, Ezequiel Garay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Rius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 minutes Latocayteva F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick.
