With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 8 minutes of play, COLDPLAY's Ahmet Demir made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Demir. 15 minutes into the match, Ahmet Demir notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 21st minute, Enginalp Hilal made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Codruț Domuță kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Boegaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for COLDPLAY. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuna İrfan made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristi Şuţu. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Lütfi Özil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Turan Uluçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Domuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ahmet Demir notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Turan Uluçam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for COLDPLAY! COLDPLAY:s Turan Uluçam showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ahmet Demir struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLDPLAY. 64 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Uluçam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Demir went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahim Tunçkan in the 73rd minute of play. Hieronim Cisek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Domuță in the 80th minute of play. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Tuna İrfan with Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Domuță in the 83rd minute of play. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save COLDPLAY from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Turan Uluçam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. When Hieronim Cisek came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the COLDPLAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Cisek couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 98 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. COLDPLAY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
