Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that David Batuhin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fulgencio Villalcazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andy Entrena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Cuatrodeocho's Sid Wilson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fulgencio Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 30th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mcdonald. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Villalcazar was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Andy Entrena. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 56th minute, Andy Entrena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fulgencio Villalcazar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin. But to his dismay, David Batuhin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 66th minute Horea Băieșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Villalcazar made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Fulgencio Villalcazar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of the match. Andy Entrena hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Iván Villafane replaced Horea Băieșu. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Marco-Antonio Landa replaced Javier Maroto. Andy Entrena hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuatrodeocho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. USA played a much better game than Cuatrodeocho and deserved their victory. The Cuatrodeocho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
