Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomero Lapurdi started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Baldomero Lapurdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Horizonte's Benigno Chago got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Nuevo Horizonte's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Tafalla came free, but Niceto Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Nuevo Horizonte's Baldomero Lapurdi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Nemesio Meder in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 30 minutes into the game, Baldomero Lapurdi lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Lautaro Navarro. Niceto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Nuevo Horizonte defense, Moises Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Virila. The Nuevo Horizonte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Virila should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Virila. Nuevo Horizonte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Virila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Honduras were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Niceto Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Lapurdi scored 2-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 played minutes Nuevo Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Aztore. In the 65th minute of the match Luca Espinar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Virila skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Katia in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Katia in the 72nd minute of play. When Paulino Katia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Nuevo Horizonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Katia couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Christian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Virila. Christian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Sebastian Villa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Virila. That made the score 2-6 after 82 minutes of play. After recieving a nice pass, Nuevo Horizonte's Honorio Aztore tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Horizonte from getting a goal against them. Christian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Virila having to interfere.
