An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Roos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Roos in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Roos in the 27th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Peru's Janich Sodborg threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. In the 37th minute, Henry Roos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Roos in the 43rd minute of play. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Orxata I Fartons from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Roos was the one to do the kick off. Orxata I Fartons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Pio in the 54th minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Orxata I Fartons's goalkeeper Janich Sodborg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janich Sodborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orxata I Fartons's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janich Sodborg having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Julian Murillo in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Orxata I Fartons's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Janich Sodborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes, Antonio Tenorio made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Efraim Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efraim Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Orxata I Fartons booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraim Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
