The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bozhil Vaptzarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 9th minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.D. Mancini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kadir Celilay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores. Gonsalve Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when U.D. Mancini's Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 26th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pedro Manzanares was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Colombia through an amazing save. Bozhil Vaptzarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 30th minute of play. Santino Seco scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonsalve Flores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of U.D. Mancini booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. U.D. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kadir Celilay notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Ugutz Campos. In the 58th minute Kadir Celilay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Kadir Celilay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Kadir Celilay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, U.D. Mancini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lancelot Machado to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Lancelot Machado. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U.D. Mancini made a substitution. Henrik Larsson replaced Cresconio Campoamor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Gonsalve Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Mastache. U.D. Mancini's Agustín Pedrosa was substituted for Kadir Celilay. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U.D. Mancini's Rolando Salvatore. U.D. Mancini's attentive Rolando Salvatore managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After having played for 85 minutes, Bozhil Vaptzarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.D. Mancini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bozhil Vaptzarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Vaptzarov came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U.D. Mancini fully deserved thier win.
