Pheonix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafik Zoheir Zerara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladislav Hampejs got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Zoheir Zerara came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Pheonix FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tyge Oehlerich in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 36 minutes Pheonix FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Alan Almeida thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tyge Oehlerich, a very annoying self made goal in the 36th minute which led to 1-1. Pheonix FC's Vladislav Hampejs got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladislav Hampejs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
In the 52ndth minute of the game Vladislav Hampejs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladislav Hampejs, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pheonix FC's Tyge Oehlerich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Pheonix FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Hampejs came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Zoheir Zerara in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Vladislav Hampejs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Vladislav Hampejs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that 任正振's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Hampejs came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyge Oehlerich having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, 任正振 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Pheonix FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
