Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. Gino Tonić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Turner came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Tonić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Álvaro Duarte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Turner in the 19th minute of play. Zafer Yavuzhan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Arturo Turner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 30th minute of play. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. New Miran FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, New Miran FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zafer Yavuzhan to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Mancebo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Turner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Turner came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Gino Tonić in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Tonić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Luca Rouco put in a rough tackle. Dante Lacasa had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Wiliam Ferraz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wiliam Ferraz took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Arturo Turner managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Miran FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Turner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Neeskens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafer Yavuzhan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alberto Tafalla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Gino Tonić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes New Miran FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Duarte. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New Miran FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
