Wincent Skaradowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Arbaszewski in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakub Rasialdo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Wincent Skaradowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincent Skaradowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Jakub Rasialdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match, Jakub Rasialdo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 33 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wincent Skaradowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play forced Wielcy Gdańsk's goalkeeper Wincent Skaradowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Nildo Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wincent Skaradowski. Wincent Skaradowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Wielcy Gdańsk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
