Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Martin Odén made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Roland Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juoksengi's Martin Odén was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Martin Odén tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Juoksengi's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matthias Ekegren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Martin Odén sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Ekegren in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Martin Odén lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. 38 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Odén. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Billy Torsberg scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Martin Odén made the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Juoksengi's Billy Torsberg. But to his dismay, Billy Torsberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Esbjörn Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Torsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Matthias Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Matthias Ekegren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Ekegren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Matthias Ekegren scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Billy Torsberg fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juoksengi's protests and gave Billy Torsberg a yellow card for diving instead. Billy Oja hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Torsberg in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Martin Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
