But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Söderkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Svante Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Telge77's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Olle Söderkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olle Söderkvist. Telge77's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Söderkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Telge77's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Facundo Cadaval was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lautaro Mancebo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olle Söderkvist having to make a save. Olle Söderkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Telge77 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sven-Olof Blomqvist hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Söderkvist. Olle Söderkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Olle Söderkvist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. 45 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olle Söderkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Söderkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Filiph Salkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Olle Söderkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After a rather tough play, Telge77's Kjell-Arne Tunström got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Telge77 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Skager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Telge77. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Olle Söderkvist however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Blomqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 75th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 75th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Telge77's Olle Söderkvist got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Söderkvist having to interfere. Svante Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Söderkvist having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Olle Söderkvist. After a defensive mix-up in Telge77's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olle Söderkvist came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Telge77 throughout the match.
