The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Caspersson was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Claes Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Claes Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Claes Caspersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Caspersson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Claes Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. Cheetah Team's Claes Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Claes Caspersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fredrik Fors kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Cheetah Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cheetah Team's Tim Askberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Claes Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 61st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Cheetah Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claes Caspersson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 77th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Tim Askberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cheetah Team's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Caspersson came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cheetah Team.
