Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ramiro Malta made the kick off which started today's match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentim Magalhães having to interfere. A collision led to MLP getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Armando Neto hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Valentim Magalhães in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valentim Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Malta in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. MLP's Valentim Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Ramiro Malta made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温迪坤, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramiro Malta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Malta came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Malta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ramiro Malta came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the MLP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Malta couldn't finish the play. Armando Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, MLP's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Valentim Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Malta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, 温迪坤 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and 温迪坤 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the MLP defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentim Magalhães. The MLP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentim Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Valentim Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute of play. MLP played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
