Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nils-Erik Åhlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 7th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th minute, Bo Eriksson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Runa United's Ted Almstedt. But to his dismay, Ted Almstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st play minute Harry Boumans came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Åhlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Runa United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jörgen Lundström hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Åhlberg having to interfere. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 55th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Runa United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Joel Gaona shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 62 minutes into the game, Harry Boumans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Runa United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Runa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Boumans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Runa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Boumans to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Nils-Erik Åhlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 66th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 74th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Runa United booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 86th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Erik Åhlberg having to make a save. After 89 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita.
