Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Harry Boumans sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Harry Boumans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Runa United's Harry Boumans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Almstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Ted Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nils-Erik Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Ted Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Boumans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Runa United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harry Boumans made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Almstedt during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Ted Almstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Runa United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Harry Boumans put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Runa United's Tage Deckbergh was substituted for Ted Almstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 73rd minute of play. Runa United's Matthias Lundin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Boumans in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute Harry Boumans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Deckbergh in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Nils-Erik Åhlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harry Boumans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
