Oriche Isazi made a great header on VERDOLAGA CITY FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Cavani in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Trolle to maneuver through the defense. Barbaros Bozbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute.

Fabian Brinker hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey did a great save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Erland Trolle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. 64 minutes into the game, one of VERDOLAGA CITY FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Barbaros Bozbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xande Cavani got free with Julio Vera in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barbaros Bozbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Although Ecuador had been in control for most of the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC still came away with the win.
