Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. If Vítek Bittner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radoslav Plašil went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 11 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Yağız Delfin hit a great ball. When Pardubice Hurricanes's Radoslav Plašil in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Svatomír Krajíček kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Pardubice Hurricanes booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Vítek Bittner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Pardubice Hurricanes's Vítek Bittner. But to his dismay, Vítek Bittner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Radoslav Plašil came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pardubice Hurricanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radoslav Plašil couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítek Bittner to make the kick off. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Vítek Bittner hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítek Bittner in the 52nd minute of the match. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Radoslav Plašil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Jiří Rychtář struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pardubice Hurricanes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Rychtář in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pardubice Hurricanes fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Rychtář looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Axel Tasis in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Přemek Ouředník, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 86 minutes into the match, Radoslav Plašil notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rubáš came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Anton Rubáš notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pardubice Hurricanes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
