When Claes Olenberg fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dallen Fc's protests and gave Claes Olenberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jim Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Zlatan Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Johan Mellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Felipe Ros put in a rough tackle. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Zlatan Beck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Beck in the 24th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Jim Jonasson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Beck, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Dallen Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Nils Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Dallen Fc got a freekick which was hit by Arman Örnberg. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Beck in the 42nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dallen Fc the free kick. After 45 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Beck in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Dallen Fc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 51st minute. 67 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zlatan Beck. 68 minutes into the game, Arman Örnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dallen Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dallen Fc's Arman Örnberg got a free kick in the 68th minute. Nils Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 72nd minute of the match. Algot Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zlatan Beck sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Panama booed when Dallen Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Olenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dallen Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dallen Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
