Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 15 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Gonza having to interfere. Enzo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Enzo Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Rik charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Rik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damaso Rik hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Enzo Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş were awarded a corner. Hector Bernad went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Enzo Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Enzo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Luar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Elodio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Elodio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enzo Gonza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Argider came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Gonza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş throughout the match.
