An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 7th minute of play forced BloodHounds F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BloodHounds F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Telmo Nascimento hit a great ball. After some careless play in the BloodHounds F.C. defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Ruy. The BloodHounds F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Ruy should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anak Agung Štriker got free with Rolando Noboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. Toto Ciupitu made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Anthony Alvarado's late challenge caught a BloodHounds F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Alvarado helped the player get up and apologised. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play forced BloodHounds F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivo Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 30th minute. Anak Agung Štriker spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Peru's goal. Astor Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Astor Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Ruy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anak Agung Štriker was the one to do the kick off. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Astor Ruy was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Astor Ruy to make any attempt to save it. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when D.J. J.J. made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Antonio Tenorio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
