Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Ferran. Húsares's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ubaldo Kismi in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes Húsares got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gasteiz. When Florencio Ferran came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Húsares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Ferran couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Quintyn having to make a save. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Húsares's Fabio Quintyn. Fabio Quintyn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Húsares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Húsares's Fabio Quintyn did a great save. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play. Fabio Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Humberto Pacorro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Humberto Pacorro made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. When Maksymilian Wydrych fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Húsares's protests and gave Maksymilian Wydrych a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Maksymilian Wydrych got a free kick in the 40th minute. Fabio Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Florencio Ferran made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Peru booed when Húsares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fabio Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Fabio Quintyn in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Kismi in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Húsares:s goal. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 93rd minute Teobaldo Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomás Chinto fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Húsares's protests and gave Tomás Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Rafael Gallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Húsares's Fabio Quintyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Maksymilian Wydrych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
