Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of VERDOLAGA CITY FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriche Isazi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Barbaros Bozbey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Barbaros Bozbey made a huge save. With a little luck, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey got control of the ball when Joel Gaona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barbaros Bozbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, one of VERDOLAGA CITY FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in VERDOLAGA CITY FC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barbaros Bozbey came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barbaros Bozbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's attentive Sun Yang Yue managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 44 minutes, Xande Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xande Cavani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xande Cavani to strike the kick off in the second half. Barbaros Bozbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barbaros Bozbey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The corner ended in Facundo Cadaval almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey did a great save. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 68th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barbaros Bozbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 70th minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Barbaros Bozbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Barbaros Bozbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Facundo Cadaval managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Xande Cavani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xande Cavani in the 80th minute. Barbaros Bozbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in VERDOLAGA CITY FC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barbaros Bozbey came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
