The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Larra Briz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Larra Briz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larra Briz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Carballal got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francisco Seco. Diegotxe Carvajal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Larra Briz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Larra Briz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Francisco Seco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jaime Cazalla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Larra Briz. Larra Briz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 40th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larra Briz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Larra Briz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivareo Monta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alberto Gisbert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Larra Briz. The goal made the score 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Larra Briz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larra Briz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 70 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Larra Briz managed to make a qualified save. C.S.D Punta Ballena's players were relieved. Miguel Vizcaya's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Vizcaya helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Vizcaya hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Larra Briz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Larra Briz made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Larra Briz, 0-7. 84 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Larra Briz. C.S.D Punta Ballena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Uruguay's Francisco Seco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. C.S.D Punta Ballena's attentive Leo Busvidad managed to snatch the ball when Arturo Carvallo made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
