In the 24th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatan Beck in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 27 minutes, Zlatan Beck made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dallen Fc's Algot Kruse. But to his dismay, Algot Kruse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 39 minutes, Zlatan Beck made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Beck in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Zlatan Beck sent off a good shot on target. Jim Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patrick Karlberg in the 92 minute of the game.
