The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Gijsbert Zethof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wesley Boon made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Mart Mans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mosk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Moises Tafalla scored to the left of an out of position Mart Mans, making the score, 1-4. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
