Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Andy Gimm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Gimm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Iacob Penaru in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. In the 22nd match minute, StardustRevolution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. Andy Gimm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play. Andy Gimm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of the match. Joel Gaona charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Gaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of StardustRevolution booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Scocco in the 28th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Oscar Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Oscar Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Santo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Santo who took care of the corner kick. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Nacho Scocco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 45th minute. StardustRevolution's Piara Santo was substituted for Oscar Santo. A hard shot by Nacho Scocco from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Dante Lacasa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

Andy Gimm was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Piara Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Piara Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The StardustRevolution fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andy Gimm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piara Santo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, StardustRevolution's goalkeeper Andy Gimm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Piara Santo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Piara Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piara Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Santo in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, StardustRevolution's Nacho Scocco got a free kick in the 89th minute. Andy Gimm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Andy Gimm made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. StardustRevolution's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
