The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Czeslaw Bronder put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Koszmarki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eustaquio Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koszmarki's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Radowit Kapera could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute, Ulryk Skikiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match, Eustaquio Gilabert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eustaquio Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Koszmarki's Eustaquio Gilabert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Kapera got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Koszmarki fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Koszmarki's Eustaquio Gilabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Leguizamo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Gilabert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Koszmarki booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Czeslaw Bronder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Eustaquio Gilabert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koszmarki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Czeslaw Bronder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Gilabert in the 78th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Skikiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute Ulryk Skikiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Gilabert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. The Koszmarki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Skikiewicz in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Ulryk Skikiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulryk Skikiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Czeslaw Bronder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Koszmarki were the better team. Koszmarki's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
