Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Bergsten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Galván having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Överås IK's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Galván came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Karsten Karlsen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Davide Galván took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Galván showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Överås IK's Davide Galván got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Davide Galván in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes Överås IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to a score. 2-1 in the 28th minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Davide Galván tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Karlsen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Davide Galván in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Överås IK's Davide Galván played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Arias in the 40th minute of play. Karsten Karlsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Karlsen in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Hydén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Överås IK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Galván came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jan Hydén tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Överås IK's Conrad Geipel got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davide Galván narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 67th minute of play forced Överås IK's goalkeeper Davide Galván to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Galván read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Överås IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Davide Galván quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Galván saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Överås IK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Davide Galván reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Galván read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Karsten Karlsen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Davide Galván made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of play. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
