Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Alcântara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Válbson Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Cadu Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válbson Paiva couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Válbson Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Válbson Paiva struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadu Team. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Lepuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Downing kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cadu Team's Mattias Downing got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Mattias Downing off the ground. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mattias Downing hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Gerber. When Zé Carlos Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Zé Carlos Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zé Carlos Gerber hit a great ball.

Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Alcântara in the 59th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Lepuș having to interfere. Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Cadu Team made a substitution. Teodoro Lago replaced Renato Barral. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ediberto da Rocha hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gelu Lepuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Lepuș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Alcântara came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Alcântara in the 87th minute of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
