Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Juan-Ramón Verón made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan-Ramón Verón's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 17th minute of the match. Juan-Ramón Verón took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Berserkers FC Ψ's Olliver Van Meirhaeghe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jim Mannell, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 38 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Berserkers FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Jim Mannell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Radowit Furlit made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 48 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Juan-Ramón Verón tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Radowit Furlit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Quinteros hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan-Ramón Verón's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Radowit Furlit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan-Ramón Verón got free with Benito Sanz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Ramón Verón came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jim Mannell missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 79 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Benito Sanz right hand side. In the 80th minute, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Juan-Ramón Verón put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Juan-Ramón Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Radowit Furlit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Juan-Ramón Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 93rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Radowit Furlit scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-11. Berserkers FC Ψ played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
