Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Lepuș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Válbson Paiva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Cadu Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Cadu Team's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Válbson Paiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Lepuș having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gelu Lepuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hugo Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Hugo Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Alcântara. Gelu Lepuș came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. Renato Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Hugo Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Alcântara to make the kick off. Gelu Lepuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Lepuș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cadu Team's Teodoro Lago was substituted for Renato Barral. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cadu Team from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Lepuș. Gelu Lepuș yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Hugo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ciro Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Ciro Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paiva came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Mazinho Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cadu Team throughout the match.
