Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. Konrad Komanski kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Misiorowski. In the 11th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Betão Pontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 20 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Cwojdak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Kasiewski in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. 28 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Betão Pontes. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 32 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Misiorowski. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Cezary Kasiewski sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla.

GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra was substituted for Ludomir Zacharek. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Werra was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Betão Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Pontes having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Kasiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucjan Werra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lucjan Werra managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Werra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olgierd Cwojdak kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
