Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oskar Törnblom got the match started through his kick off. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Izaak Spijker got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Törnblom came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Gongola in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruno Marceau charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Marceau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Bruno Marceau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Leon Craandijk made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ksawery Gongola scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Ksawery Gongola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Gongola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Gongola in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ksawery Gongola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Oskar Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
