Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingmar Bergman started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Ganix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Bergman in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Ganix in the 8th minute. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ingmar Bergman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's Honorio Carceles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Ingmar Bergman. But to his dismay, Ingmar Bergman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorio Carceles who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PERSPOLIS's Mihovil Štibić to a score. 2-0 in the 36th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix. But to his dismay, Cipriano Ganix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingmar Bergman went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. PERSPOLIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Ganix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Bergman in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Bergman in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Ganix came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Powderham in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PERSPOLIS's Ingmar Bergman got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PERSPOLIS's Pedro León was substituted for Myles Powderham. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihovil Štibić, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ingmar Bergman hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarell Guasch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. PERSPOLIS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
