They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Claudio Aznar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Claudio Aznar in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score was now 0-3. 81 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Claudio Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hitzeder Palomar hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Panama's Abraham Alguacil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudio Aznar but with some difficulty. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Claudio Aznar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting a goal against them. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
