In the 35th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Aves Negras's Jurand Banas got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 44 played minutes, USA's Cassius Byrne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Bakar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in USA reached it. Jurand Banas charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Banas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Edward Mcdonald who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Bakar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edward Mcdonald got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-1 in the right cross in the 57th match minute before Marcial Bakar had time to react. 61 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Guter Tobia came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 82nd minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Khalid Parry made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
