Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Neiva in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoni Olejarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Phantasy World's Antoni Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. If José Maria Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Neiva in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Olejarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Phantasy World's Bálint Kormos. In the 31st minute, José Maria Neiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phantasy World fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phantasy World's Antoni Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Maria Neiva to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Camilo Gisbert made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. The Phantasy World fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Phantasy World's Antoni Olejarz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Phantasy World from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Jurand Wysocki notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, 姜星桑 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
