Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guter Tobia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Aves Negras's Guter Tobia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Guter Tobia came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 15th minute of play. Guter Tobia scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcial Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Bakar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute of the match, Tamer Yalçıner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Day saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamer Yalçıner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Brown to maneuver through the defense. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guter Tobia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 51st minute of the match. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Aves Negras's Guter Tobia got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bradley to maneuver through the defense. Aves Negras made a substitution. Efrain Artal replaced Guter Tobia. After 70 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Bakar having to interfere. Aaron Gallagher kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Gallagher. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Bakar was a little too slow when Sam Campbell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Aves Negras to leave the ground with a draw.
