Theodosis Kassapis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Green Horses's Theodosis Kassapis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. Theodosis Kassapis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodosis Kassapis having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodosis Kassapis was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Felix Montes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Demis Mitsis got a free kick in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theodosis Kassapis. That made the score 1-6 after 63 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theodosis Kassapis. That made the score 1-7 after 67 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Green Horses. After having played for 81 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theodosis Kassapis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 82nd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Notis Bartzokas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Green Horses throughout the match.
