In the 2nd minute Edgardo Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lionel Escalona was slow to take the kick. During this time Avellaneda FC's players had a chance to rest. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Ahlkvist in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro López saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro López having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Ekhi. Iker Ekhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After some careless play in the Avellaneda FC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro López. The Avellaneda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro López should have stopped the shot. Alessandro López made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alessandro López was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 53rd minute Iker Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Alessandro López reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avellaneda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Alessandro López, making the score, 0-3. Rickard Ahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro López. Alessandro López dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alessandro López made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro López showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 90th minute. A hard shot 94 in the game by Facundo Cadaval from a close distance when the talented Alessandro López managed to make a qualified save. Avellaneda FC's players were relieved. 96 minutes into the game, Avellaneda FC's Edgardo Silvanito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
