Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogdy the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, Bogdy's Toni Cifuentes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heriberto Pastor went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Bogdy got a freekick which was hit by Toni Cifuentes. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Patrick Zimmerman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Heriberto Pastor fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Patrick Zimmerman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Zimmerman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Zimmerman came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Benito Madrid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogdy the free kick. Benito Madrid hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Heriberto Pastor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Elpidio Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Toni Cifuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Zimmerman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. Bogdy played a much better game than Bolivia and deserved their victory. The Bolivia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
