If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sálvio Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. Felix Montenegro made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mitad Mas Uno's goalkeeper Sálvio Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Goren in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sálvio Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Nóbrega came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Kauã Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mitad Mas Uno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sálvio Ramalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute of play. When Kauã Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Mitad Mas Uno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Sálvio Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play forced La Mitad Mas Uno's goalkeeper Sálvio Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Kauã Nóbrega notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A well-hit corner resulted in Antonio Arias heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 83 played minutes La Mitad Mas Uno got a freekick which was hit by Albano Goren. When Mauricio Nastasio fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mitad Mas Uno's protests and gave Mauricio Nastasio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Mitad Mas Uno getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mauricio Nastasio hit a great ball. La Mitad Mas Uno's Sálvio Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Sálvio Ramalho. La Mitad Mas Uno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sálvio Ramalho having to make a save. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
